Our Mission

The purpose of the Republican Judicial District Chairs Committee is to find, endorse and elect outstanding judges at the District Court, Appeals Court and Supreme Court levels in Minnesota.

We are looking for “Originalist” judicial candidates, who will interpret the Constitution as the drafters intended.

At both the Federal and State levels we have too many judges who are “just making thing up,” in the words of the late US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

While he was in Office, President Trump appointed about 300 new, Originalist judges to the Federal Bench.

We Minnesota Republicans also have an opportunity to replace wayward judges because the Minnesota Constitution provides for the election of judges.

The Minnesota Republican Party Constitution provides for endorsing and electing judges at the Statewide and Judicial District levels.
